The Little Beam Foundation is proud to bring you the 2024 Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland Mental Health & Wellbeing Awards. We hope that you can join us in celebrating all those in the local community making a difference for Mental Health & Wellbeing.
Established in 2020, the Little Beam Foundation is a charity that helps Children & Young Adults (3yrs to 18yrs) by providing grants to support mental health and wellbeing through the six key areas of health, sport, education, music, art, and play

An Era of Change
Our first ever Little Beam Foundation Mental Health and Wellbeing Awards 2024 will be hosted by Ady Dayman at the amazing Leicester Tigers Stadium.
We will be celebrating children, young people, and those that support them, by connecting, sharing positivity and celebrating those that come together to promote positive mental health and wellbeing.
There will be 10 award categories for sponsorship. Each nominee for an award will attend for free. Every option for membership can be invoiced over 4 months to allow for a flexible method of payment.

LBF Award - Inspirational Story Award
This award recognises an individual who has made a significant impact in their community, inspiring others through their leadership, compassion, and dedication to improving the lives of those around them. Through their selfless actions and unwavering commitment, they serve as a shining example of what it means to be truly inspirational.

Mental Health within the Workplace Award
The Mental Health within the Workplace Award recognises companies that prioritise the well-being of their employees by implementing policies and practices that support and promote good mental health. This award encourages a positive workplace culture that values and prioritises employee mental health, leading to better productivity, job satisfaction, and overall organisational success.

Volunteer of the Year Award
The Volunteer of the Year will have dedicated countless hours to supporting mental health and wellbeing for children and young adults. Their commitment to improving the lives of those in need will be truly inspiring, and their impact will have been felt by countless individuals. Their selflessness and dedication make them a shining example of what it means to be a true volunteer.

Secondary School or FE College of the Year Award
This award recognises a Secondary School or FE College that has demonstrated outstanding commitment to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of its students. The recipient school has implemented effective programmes and initiatives to promote positive mental health, and has provided accessible resources and support for students who may be struggling..

Primary School of the Year Award
The Primary School of the Year Award recognises schools that have made outstanding efforts to support the mental health and wellbeing of their students. These schools provide a safe, caring and nurturing environment that fosters positive mental health, emotional resilience and wellbeing, enabling children to thrive both academically and personally.

Mental Health in Sports Award
The Mental Health in Sports Award recognises individuals or organisations that prioritise and promote mental health in sports. This award aims to raise awareness and reduce stigma surrounding mental health in sport, highlighting the importance of caring for athletes' mental well-being in addition to their physical health

Young Achievement Award
This young achiever will have demonstrated exceptional resilience and strength in overcoming their struggles with mental health or wellbeing. Despite facing challenges, they have persevered and shown a commitment to their own healing and growth, serving as an inspiration to others facing similar difficulties.

Inclusive Award
An inclusive award is a recognition given to individuals or organisations that demonstrate a commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in their respective fields. It celebrates efforts to create a more inclusive society by acknowledging those who have actively worked towards breaking down barriers and promoting equality.

Shining Star Award
The Shining Star Award recognises an individual who has demonstrated outstanding dedication, talent, and excellence in their field, inspiring and influencing others to achieve their full potential. It celebrates individuals who have shone brightly and made a significant impact in their community or profession.

Community Wellbeing Award
The Community Wellbeing Award recognises individuals or organisations that have made significant contributions to improving the overall health and wellness of their community through innovative programmes, initiatives, or advocacy efforts.
